[He deepens the kiss, slipping a hand into Mukuro's hair, feeling its soft silkiness.]

[Today, like every other day, he can feel himself yielding to Byakuran. Perhaps the don's lips are simply that intoxicating, so much so that he always desires more. It did disgust him, initially; he had felt every touch to be revolting when their game - or relationship - began. Parting his lips willingly, he is drawn closer, a hand sliding up along the curve of Byakuran's neck to rest at the base of the skull.]

[He makes a satisfied voice in his throat at the other's submission. Mukuro's willingness fuels his lust, making him yearn for more. It has always been difficult for him to differentiate between lust and love but even that his desire rises, he knows Mukuro is something he has to treasure...unlike those toys.]

[He's willing, yes...but there remains the insistent nagging that he shouldn't be laying back and allowing the don to dominate him like this. Closing his eyes so he doesn't have to watch, Mukuro retreats a little into his own mind. He retains enough control to direct his body, feel physical sensations, which is enough. It's like invisible fetters encircle his wrists still. He wants to escape them but he can't.]

[He continues to kiss Mukuro, tasting his sweetness that he loves so much. Yet when he withdraws, he doesn't continue as he can feel something about his lover is still off.]

...What is it.

[His eyes open to gaze questioningly at Byakuran. To most, it would appear nothing is wrong.]

You still seem conflicted, somehow...

What gives you that impression.

Just a feeling.

[Can't Byakuran ever stop seeing through him? And the don wonders why he likes to hide...]

...Still feel like I am forcing you, hmm?

[Again he pushes Byakuran away so he can slide off the bed. Without answering, he makes to head towards the door.]

[He sighs and lies back on the bed.]

I will still be here when you're back.

[He pauses in mid-step, head beginning to turn as if to glance back. He forces himself to face the front again and continue towards the door. On the knob his hand rests briefly, as if expecting something (or someone) to stop him.]

[He chooses that opportunity to move from the bed. Reaching out for Mukuro, he sweeps the smaller man back into his arm before burying his lips in the crook of the illusionist's neck.]

But think again, I really don't want you to leave, my love.

[He mumbles so quietly Byakuran might think he had been imagining it.]

As long as you keep chasing me, I'll continue to run away...

...Don't you like the game of chase, Mukuro-kun?

...We're engaged. There is nothing to chase, is there?

...Perhaps I am just afraid I will lose you.

[Flatly:] You don't trust me.

I do, believe me. But I just don't trust the outer factors.

[Snarling:] I don't need protection.

There you go again. Calm down, love. I have no intention of saying you cannot protect yourself.

[Wriggling out of the don's grasp, voice bitter, he places a hand on the door knob again.]

When you can learn to let go, perhaps I will come back.
