Before you ask: yes, you may celebrate Christmas. However, I still expect perfect attendance. If your behaviour is satisfactory, I may make a small allowance by looking the other way should you choose to indulge in some holiday spirit. One thing I will not tolerate is students drinking themselves into a stupor, as amusing as that may be.
On a more serious note: you may (or may not be) relieved that classes will not be entirely improvised (I must remember to thank Alaude for his assistance in that regard).

Yet another Christmas, and the end of yet another year. Nothing has changed and my goals are as far out of my reach as they have ever been. Where did I go wrong? Tsunayoshi's body could have easily been mine. Now I find myself his Guardian and unable to do anything lest the Vindice perceive some threat and reappear to cage me. Of course, I am capable of breaking freeeventually, and the prospect of becoming a fugitive does not daunt me in the slightest. But I am concerned that Chrome's health may well be affected should the guards attempt to completely take away my skills.
No, I should not be worried about a little girl such as her. I must rethink my strategy for possessing the Decimo's body. But any meeting we have would surely be happenstance - he is in none of my classes, and we certainly have no cause to meet. And I must be close in order to possess him.
For now, I suppose I must settle for watching and waiting, just as I have done for the past five years...
