I may be currently confined to the infirmary with broken ribs, but that does not mean my students will be allowed to have an extended holiday as well, kufufu~
As it seems I will not be able to return to teaching for a good two weeks or so, your homework is as follows:
[To students of psychology:]
Write an essay of minimum 2000 words on what causes the mind to descend into what is known as 'insanity', with particular emphasis on your opinion why society deems this as such. If you are confused, consider what state of mind we consider 'sane', and compare it to that which is deemed 'insane'. I expected insightful answers. (And I give you permission to study certain persons on this campus if you are still struggling.Namely, some members of the Varia, Byakuran and his Funeral Wreaths.)
[To students of espionage:]
If you can successfully bypass Genkishi and infiltrate Byakuran's room without his knowledge and return to me with evidence of your having been inside, you will pass. Be sure it is something that is recognisable as his, kufu~
[To students learning Mist flame manipulation:]
Advanced level: I shall be moving on to practical applications of Mist flames upon my return. In the meantime, make summary notes from the relevant textbooks you have been given to study from.
Expert level: Write an essay on the use of such flames in battle apart from illusions. Minimum 1000 words.
[To students of illusions:]
I will test you on your progress when I am able-bodied.
Advanced level: Your challenge is to create a landscape that completely encompasses the hall which I will be selecting for use on the day (so its size will be a surprise, kufu~). Those who want to excel should be able to make the area seem larger than it truly is, and by that I mean I should be able to walk through a forest and never see its end.
Expert level: I expect you to be able to create a series of illusions all at once, each quite different to each other. And make sure they are complex. A single flower is not sufficient at this level. You should be able to create a field of flowers where each one is unique. This is as much a test of your eye for detail as it is a test of your imagination. Do not disappoint me.
[To students in my mid-range combat class:]
I will be sorting you all into pairs so you may spar with each other once I am fit. I may even personally test you myself and I will know if you haven't been practising.
[To ALL my students:]
I have not specified a deadline for the above tasks but know that I expect all the relevant material to be handed in the very next class I attend. So I suggest you do not procrastinate since you do not know exactly when I will be returning, hmm? Kufufufufu~
[To Byakuran:]
I see you have already announced the news of our engagement. Will you now tell me what it is you have been hiding, since I have just announced I am betrothed to you?
I am not budging on the issue of our wedding. I refuse to wear a dress of any kind and no amount of coercing will make me change my mind.
